Upcoming Training Sessions provided by Phoenix Psychology

09.07.2024

Phoenix Psychology is an independent psychological service based in Midlands and have worked alongside Health and Social Care Services for many years supporting services to embed psychological thinking both to support their clients and their staff.  Phoenix Psychology work collaboratively with schools, community groups, solicitors, the voluntary sector, local authorities, independent foster care organisations, residential homes, health services and other statutory and non-statutory organisations.  The Violence Reduction Partnership has partnered with Phoenix Psychology since 2021 and will be offering the following training:

  • Formulation and Risk Assessment
  • Working with Children and Young People who have a complex trauma history - adapting our interventions and environments
  • Understanding Neurodiversity in the context of Exploitation and Serious Youth Violence.
  • Low Intensity - CBT Intervention

Each workshop will be designed as a stand alone one, however we would recommend attendance at all to provide a holistic understanding.

Following each group there will be the opportunity to attend monthly online drops-ins to consider applications of the training and have questions answered that have arisen for attendees following the workshops. They will also be able to bring cases back to these drop ins for specific questions.

The dates for these will be provided on the day of the workshops.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to jasmine.omeara@westmidlands.police.uk VRP Assistant Delivery Manager.
