Programmes for Parents

The following courses are available to Parents/Carers/Guardians across the borough and are FREE of charge.


Cygnet - this programme supports parents and carers with children on the pathway to diagnosis or diagnosed with Autism.

 

Parent Factor in ADHD - this is a programme for parents of children who are on the pathway to diagnosis or have a diagnosis of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

 

Stepping Stones - this programme supports parents/carers with children and young people with diagnosed or undiagnosed SEND needs.

 

Welcome to Parenthood Triple P Baby - Triple P Baby is for expectant parents and parents that have a child under 1 years old

 

Triple P - Programme will support parent/carers to raise happy & confident children

 

Teen Triple P - Programme will support parent/carers to raise happy & confident teens.


Solihull Approach for Foster Carers, Kinship Carers & Adoptive Parents - this programme supports the carer/child relationship for Foster carers/kinship carers/adoptive parents. The programme also promotes an understanding of the impact of early experiences and how this links to how a child or young person relates. This is also a great opportunity to meet other foster and kinship carers.

 

MoodMaster - consists of light-touch CBT-based well-being sessions to encourage parents/carers to step back from the ups and downs of life and reflect on their own well-being.

 

Family Transitions - this programme will help their child/ren through separation or divorce

 

Changes - Sandwell’s very own programme to help parents throughout their parenting journey. There are sessions on the Early Years (0-4), the Primary School Years (5-10) and the Secondary School Years (11-19).
