At the recent Safeguarding event we heard how big and issue Neglect is in Sandwell and that unfortunately there have been child deaths in the past few months due to reasons of neglect. Issues of neglect for children in Sandwell is not improving, the Neglect Strategy can be downloaded here and will help professionals in tackling this and recognising it at an earlier point to avoid children being greatly impacted and situations escalating.
