The HCT project has a funding pool of £75,000 for VCSE led health equity projects to be delivered between March and September 2025. The projects should be collaborative in nature bringing together different organisations to address issues that the communities you engage with experience.
Projects should align with the Core20PLUS5 framework for adults or children (for more information on the Core20PLUS5 approach, please visit: NHS England » Core20PLUS5 (adults) – an approach to reducing healthcare inequalities) or target a specific priority action within the Black Country Health Inequalities strategy.) Projects will be assessed based on:
- Driving
Health Equity – How will the project
impact local communities across the Black Country and
improve health equity, i.e. focusing efforts on areas with the
greatest need?
- Sharing
Knowledge – How will the project share the learning across
sectors to improve collaboration and service provision?
- Strategic
Impact – How will the project drive strategic impact and
what could this result in? This can be linked to organisational
or sector wide strategies.
- VCSE
role - How will the project showcase the
VCSE sector as a prime contributor to creating health and
wealth, for the good of the local population and wider system.
