The family Hubs are extending out their services to include increased outreach peer support to encourage families who would not usually engage. The peer support services will aim to reach isolated families in Sandwell, offer a listening ear and practical guidance to increase their confidence to access integrated support to help them care for their children from conception, and throughout the early years. This will promote positive perinatal mental-health and enhancing the parent-infant relationship.
Sandwell Family Hubs are working with voluntary and community sector organisations who can engage families and support them to engage in services.
