This model focuses on reducing risk factors, increasing protective factors and improving resilience levels, thereby supporting children and young people to be: safer and less fearful less likely to be re-victimised less likely to engage in risky behaviours more likely to move on from their victim experiences and effect positive change 0-4 we support the parent to support their child. 5+ we can provide support through the parent or direct support with parental consent. 13+ who wish to self-refer may do so and support can only be offered following an Assessment of Competency.

Online crime Everyone deserves a safe online experience. However, some people use the internet and technology to harm other people. Theft, Burglary, Robbery and criminal damage Having something stolen – whether through theft, burglary or robbery – or having something deliberately damaged or broken (called criminal damage) are some of the most common crimes. But that doesn’t mean they’re not serious. They can make you scared, upset or even physically hurt. No one has the right to hurt you or to take or break your things, and there are lots of people who can help you.

A violent crime is one when someone physically hurts, or threatens to hurt, you. This also includes crimes where a weapon is used. Gang violence, assault, murder and manslaughter are all regarded as violent crimes.
