Helping Hands delivery Virtual and face to face workshops: ‘This Is Me-understanding my behaviours as I have different needs’. The workshops were written by Dr Melanie Bruce and Dr Stephanie Summers clinical psychologist HCS&C. Parents focus on the reasons behind behaviours and are supported in putting strategies into place so others can understanding and support their child’s behaviour. The This Is Me plan, can then be given to anyone who has contact with the child/young person, to encourage a consistent approach to understanding and supporting the child/young person behaviour.
