We are offering four Youth MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) courses to parents and carers of young people who live in Sandwell. The course will equip parents/carers to be able to spot the signs of mental and
emotional distress and know how to support them. The course also enable the parent carer to know where to get support and will give them the skills and knowledge of how to support them in a crisis.

Following this we are offering six sessions of peer support to the attendees so that they have further support and to see how or if they have used their skills. They will also have access to a support app for
three years.
