For any professional working across the West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire or Stoke on Trent, whose role may involve contact with children, including those in social care, health (primary care, mental health, accident and emergency, midwifery, health visiting, sexual health), police, adoption services, fostering services, schools and any other relevant services. It is relevant for both frontline staff, and those in strategic leadership roles.

An introduction to Intrafamilial child sexual abuse – taking a multi-agency approach (1 day)

This one-day introductory course is designed for professionals who work in collaboration with other agencies, to provide an overview of the key issues to support them in identifying and responding to cases of intra-familial child sexual abuse.

For professionals working across the West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire or Stoke on Trent in children’s and adults’ social care, health (primary care, mental health, midwifery, health visiting), prisons, probation, police, adoption services, fostering services and any other relevant services in contact with parent(s) and/or carer(s).

Responding to harmful sexual behaviour in education settings (1 hour)

For all professionals working across the West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire or Stoke on Trent in schools or other places of learning for children, including pupil referral units and special schools; it is not just for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs). It may also be of interest to other professionals such as social workers or youth justice workers.
