There are two available programmes: Your Resilience and Me & Money.
The programmes seek to respond to the growing mental health crisis of young people by training teachers and equipping young people with the tools and knowledge to build their resilience, so they can better maintain their mental health through life’s transitions.
What is Your Resilience?
- A
fully funded programme, available at no cost to participating community
groups
- Designed
to support 14–18-year-olds through life’s transitions by building their
resilience skills
- Built for legacy outcomes, with a strong emphasis on training staff to support young people’s mental health
What is Me & Money?
Me & Money meets an unmet need for young people aged 14-18 because it bridges the gap between mental health and financial literacy. The cost-of-living crisis has led 83% of 17-18 years-old feeling anxious about money, but only 32% of young people know where to turn to find tools and resources that can help them cope with money and mental health
3 key objectives of Me & Money are:
- Provide
young people with an understanding of the interconnection between money
and mental health.
- Empower
young people by supporting them to understand how our attitudes towards
money can influence our thoughts and behaviours.
- Equip young people with a suite of resilience-building skills and tools related to money which they can use to support themselves, now and in the future.
