This training is considered as essential for all practitioners and managers working within frontline services. Non-fatal strangulation (NFS) is a common form of domestic abuse and coercive control, with research telling us that victims of NFS are 7x more likely to be murdered by their partners.
The training takes the form of a webinar (2 hours) and a half-day session (3.5 hours and include a case study - it is recommended that learners attend both (webinar first) to ensure a more thorough understanding of non fatal strangulation. There are both online and face to face options available for the half day sessions.
