The underlying principle of the program is to support young girls & women to acquire knowledge, skills, and expertise to make better informed decisions on aspects that are pertinent to their lives. The program exists to empower women & girls with knowledge that will be invaluable in their lives. This knowledge will support the process of informed decision making, helping them make better life and career choices. Our innovative program puts the learner at the centre of the program and will challenge every individual according to their need.
Please note, the charge for the service is £30 per person (per group of 10).

LUV Employability

LUV Employability is a programme that offers support to those who are unemployed that need extra support to find long term sustainable employment. The programme offers the opportunity to acquire and develop a range of soft skills that will help people improve their confidence and actively search for and apply for employment opportunities.
Please note, there is a cost of £600 for the 6 week programme.

Extra Time

Extra Time provides cost free targeted intervention work across the borough of Sandwell to vulnerable young people who are at risk of
entering the criminal justice system. The programme will provide bespoke 1 to 1 mentoring for young people from school years 9-
13 (13-18 years of age) aiming to build resilience, increasing self-confidence; self-esteem and raise aspirations of the young
people which will build on their existing skill set and steer them away from any future criminal activity.

The Blues Project/Bouncing Back

The Blues programme is an evidence based targeted cbt groupwork programme for young people aged 13-19 consisting of 6 one hour sessions delivered in school. Blues offers techniques to help improve mental health and wellbeing. Bouncing Back is a 2 one hour session universal intervention to young people in years 7 and up offering practical tools to help build resilience and an awareness of mental health and wellbeing issues.
There is no cost for this service.

Our Future

Our Future is a project delivered by Black Country Women’s Aid Children’s Advocacy Team. Our Future offers a range of school based support to children and young people age 5-18 affected by domestic abuse. As a specialist domestic abuse service, the Service in Sandwell is in place to support children and young people that are open to children’s social care who require in depth support and advocacy to ensure that the child’s voice is heard within the social care arena during meetings.
